GIRLS BREAK 4 X 100 RECORD

The team of Heather Zielonka, Diane Sujansky, Brooke Taylor and Tamara Smith set a school record with a time of 50.62 at the Baldwin Invitational.  The girls next goal is to shave their time to a state qualifying time of 50.44.  Good Luck girls.

TRACY WILBURN SET NEW 100 m MARK

It took 28 years for a Plum Runner to beat a 9.9 second dash by Chuck McMillan.   Back in 1975, the event was the 100 yard dash, not 100 meter run as it is today.  A conversion table was used to translate McMillan's record time from yards to meters.  Tracy Wilburn's 10.8 run at the Baldwin Invitational was fast enough to beat the converted record.   Tracy is also part of the 4 X 100 meter relay team which is quickly catching a 1989 record.
